Fan Arrangement 

The idea of the fan arrangement is to create sheer opulence and decadence to room. Stripping the leaves off the stems creates this bold positive space that balances with the flowers at the top. This style would look impressive at a corporate event or commercial outlet.

Fig.1 - Clear and strong but also elegant. The parallel lines and spirals bring in movement that make it surprising.  Spirals are a great decorative feature creates a graceful atmosphere.

Fig 2 - Circle rounded shape. light delicate tones creates a soft romantic feel. Precise arrangement to enhance its delicate shape. The flowers chosen are overly soft and need a more sharper edge.

Craspedia, Chins, Alstomeria, Celosia, Bear grass

My original plan was to arrange the shape in a thin linear line and divide the colours in a symmetrical sequence.
There would be no wires or accessories used, to keep it more natural

Technique notes 03/04/2014

Choose a suitable container/vase for the design. Preferably a opaque so the oasis is hidden. Cut oasis to fit vase and soak.
 Technique 
Using these notes, I started constructed the arrangement starting with dogwood that's gives it that original line the flowers will follow.

The celosia was much heavier than first expected. The overall focus of the design is much larger than expected compared to my sketch.

 Purple wire create an electrical current through the flowers.
